RaspberryPi litecoin CPU and GPU miner bounty – Raspberry Pi Forums

You should be aware that only Broadcom has the capability to code for the GPU – perhaps you could email them your request?

I cant code I’m only organising for a bounty to paid from donations for someone to take the project on.

Point is you are putting the cart before the pony. Wij don”t presently have any way to use the GPU for general purpose computing and wij are unlikely to get one any time soon.

“its a finish implementation of OGL ES2.0, so does support shaders. What you do with them is up to you!”

I’ll waterput it another way:

Yes I have embarked a bounty reciving donations ter litecoins, bitcoins and namecoins which all can be sold for specie. If you take the project on wij can also list it on – http://litebit.co/ – a major place to ask for LTC/BTC donations and support. Wij could also ask for Devcoin – https://plus.bitcoin.it/wiki/Devcoin – funding and with this being an alt-currency opensource project I can see lots of votes coming our way.

Can the RasPi be run 24×7 at 100% CPU without demolishing the chip and/or the memory through overheating considering the placement?

Re: RaspberryPi litecoin CPU and GPU miner bounty

What exactly does “optimised” mean? If I can make a CPU version thats 10% swifter than the stock version, do I win the specie?

If someone only makes an optimised CPU miner that they should be entitled to 33% of the bounty but I would like someone or a group of people to get together to take on the entire project CPU and GPU so a finish package can be created. I think I had someone mention te taking on GPU part if you are both serious maybe you can get together to create the RaspberryPI litecoin miner project and apply for Devcoin funding – https://plus.bitcoin.it/wiki/Devcoin – and create a project webstek/blog and get the project listed on – http://litebit.co/ – a major source of donations and support spil the bounty isn’t that big yet. So if you’re interested te taking on the CPU and/or GPU part please email mij at [email protected] and wij can get a team together and apply for Devcoin funding and get the project listed – http://litebit.co/

Re: RaspberryPi litecoin CPU and GPU miner bounty

The manufacturer provides users informatie so wij can make OpenGL API calls. Wij, the users, don’t get to write any code that runs on the GPU.
